From the earliest of times, this gardener has delighted in creating art and magical environments within her homes. COVID and a long pause to her travels took her outside to create a series of Mosaic Peace Gardens amongst the many pathways, rose gardens, rock walls, and wildflowers that abound in her courtyard. These includes a 150-foot stained glass and pottery Peace Wall with the hero ’s and shero ’s of our times, featuring colorful glass message stones, vibrant “chapeau’d’ ladies wearing whatever hat they please, and dancing Amazonian women who defy prescribed roles with joy, power, kindness and determination. Located in Canon with the Acequia Madre behind the property, trees and greenery abound, and the artist’s colorful glass projects are everywhere. Whimsy, Beauty and Nature await you.
DUE TO VERY LIMITED PARKING, CARPOOLING IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
This year we are requesting a modest $10 registration fee from members and guests to attend each of these tours as a means of fundraising. The funds raised will provide resources for community projects.
