September Meeting:

Chris Pieper will discuss current research into the Biotic Pump. The Biotic Pump refers to the process of how forests and ecosystems create their own weather. The implications of this theory are that human beings can not only have positive impacts on biodiversity, but also help cool the climate through ecosystem restoration. 

Chris will share numerous stories of human stewardship and how healing the Biosphere heals the climate. The message is very positive and uplifting.
