We are arranging, with the immense help of our Tour Venue Coordinator, Lawrence Baker, a series of Members Only Garden Tours.  For each tour, you will need to make a reservation so that we can ease the parking situation for the homeowner.  The tours will be of the garden only.  When you make your reservation you will receive directions to the garden.

 A riot of spring blossoms welcomes garden club members to the first garden featured this summer by Los Jardineros.  Perched on a wooded hilltop in Turley Mill, the gardens wrap around the house and end at the owner’s studio/observatory which will be open for viewing.  Enter the front gate to see the intimate enclosed courtyard bursting with iris, poppies, peonies, and columbine and a purple robe locust.  Colorful pots add more color and interest. Exit the gate and turn right to start your adventure around the south side of the house, passing by a lilac and a gracefully shaped apple tree.  The back patios feature more pots in full bloom, roses, lavender, iris and other perennials. Exit the west gate and make your way to the studio/observatory.

Besides the fascinating art on display, the owner’s book, “Luna, The Mare with the Sky Blue Eyes,” a true story of rescue and love that has won 8 awards, will be on display.  Feel free to wander the grounds of this hilltop oasis cared for by the owners and Kristi Vine.
